Hello and thank you for stopping by: I am Alisha Hancock, operator of "Pawsitively Purrfect" pet salon. We are located in Blanchard(but are actually) Near BridgeCreek, Tuttle, and Newcastle, OK.  This business was established in December of 2002 in Spiceland, IN. And Thrived there until October 2009 After a Move to South Carolina in 2009; I opened up grooming from my home to area Pet owners in St. George Until work once again picked us up for a move; most recently to Newcastle, Oklahoma area: I want to THANK all of my Past loyal customers. And WELCOME to all my New and soon to be Client.

Grooming is By APPOINTMENT ONLY and Appointments are available on the following days:

Monday: 3pm-5pm

Wednesday: 9am-noon

and Every Other Saturday: 9am-1pm

I have always had a Love for all animals; my background in that matter is extensive, starting in 4H and then continuing into animal science and genetics classes, as an adult I worked as an Animal Control Officer and Kennel Tech at our local Humane Society(in Indiana).  My grooming came in as a help to the poor neglected dogs and cats that came through that shelter, even though the job I did back then was no where near professional,(to say the least) it did give me a small start into what I do today.

My break into it came at a small Pet Store in my local area, I was mainly customer service for my first 2 years, but into that year they had to let there current groomer go, and asked me to fill in, I was immediately hooked.  That store later closed, which pushed me to open my own grooming salon out of my own home(more personalized service).  My Darling  husband worked diligently on the weekends; he had to come home from training(4 weeks of it) for a new job just to work some more building onto our home.  If it wasn't for his efforts and the help of my wonderful step father, my business never would have happened. I owe these two gentleman a world of gratitude that I'm sure I don't always give.  But while they were building I was doing my own training course to help perfect the areas of grooming I did not know about, I took a course called "All About Dog Grooming" I received my certificate in June 2004. Yes I groomed and trained at the same time, Had to pay for that course somehow! LOL

NOW! 10 yrs later we are in Oklahoma, My passion is still with me, we are ready to start receiving Clients in our New Location on a "BY Appointment ONLY basis".  

  So Please Contact for next available Appointment Slot, we accept ALL breed of dogs, must provide proof of current vaccines, (as this is an in home busines and we have our own pets to protect)

We offer full grooming services by appointment:  Full Grooming includes: Hair cut/trim, Bath, blow dry, Nails, and ear cleaning/hair removal, And finish with bandana or bows to customer request.  We also offer special medicated baths and flea treatments when needed at an additional fee. 

Thats just it, there are no behind the scenes here, I use humane technics to groom, and a home atmosphere so that stress levels are kept down, I don't require owners to leave the way most salons do; I prefer they do; because dogs tend to behave better when owner is not in the room(again just like kids).  But if owner is more comfortable staying the first time I groom their pet, they are more than welcomed to stay, I have no issues with it.
